Excellent swimming lake. Water mild temp. and clean. Surrounds picnic friendly and car park very convenient

Such a cute little train! So great that the kids can climb on it and explore, its not fenced off. Good place to stop for a stretch, before heading to the info centre up the road. The kids really enjoyed climbing all over it, and we enjoyed reading about the history of it.

Nicely maintained gardens and toilets. Great place for the kids to visit and stop off for a picnic
